Your Responsibilities

As a project manager, you will have overall responsibility throughout the entire product lifecycle – from idea and concept to industrialization and production. You will lead projects in hardware, embedded electronics, and software in close collaboration with internal development teams and external partners.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate development projects from concept to mass production.
• Coordinate activities between hardware, firmware, UI/UX, labeling, and industrialization.
• Support and review mechanical design (CAD models and drawings).
• Ensure manufacturability and production readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally between R&D, quality, regulatory functions, and suppliers.
• Identify risks and ensure compliance with medical device regulations (ISO 13485, FDA).
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.

Your Profile

You are a structured and action-oriented leader with a good technical understanding and experience in driving projects in complex development environments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in project management within product development and industrialization.
• Experience from the medical technology industry or a similar regulated sector.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, automation, and assembly.
• Experience in driving the entire product development cycle – from concept phase and verification to industrialization and mass production.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards for the development of medical devices (ISO 13485 and FDA requirements).
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) and design for manufacturing. Experience in risk management and proactive problem-solving in development projects is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with international manufacturing partners.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
